Has anyone been to Spice Market Cafe on Eccy road?

Its featured in that waste of paper called city magazine that gets sent here every month but then again so is a restaurant that I felt indifferent about.

Reading up about it online it seems like the concept is a little odd. We were thinking of trying it for a meal out but now we're unsure.

yeah I got that much.
Last time I went to Artisan I thought it didn't quite cut it (for the price)
Thyme is getting worse "thyme after thyme"
and I haven't been to any of the other restaurants.

I went last night for a friends birthday. It was nice but not spicy enough in my opinion.  Had Lamb Shank Rogan Josh bit couldn't really see where the spice was.  Very tender though.  They got a few orders wrong too but still early days I guess.  I would go back if that means anything.

Its a start but I'd picked the lamb shank off the online menu.

I seem to remember Thyme doing a very similar dish.

If its a lamb shank rogan you're after.....this knocks anything I've ever had in a restaurant into a cocked hat.
