Google made a real effort this year for April fools day. Gmail Tap, driverless Nascars, etc, but my favorite by far was , which actually works, including 8bit Street View. Genius. Still working at the mo, but the 'Quest' button has gone so be quick if you want a play. The one about getting all of YouTube on DVD was just silly.

Been playing with Google Fusion Tables, which is essentially an extension of Google Docs mashed up with Google Maps.

You can do a lot with the built in tools, some of which are still 'experimental'. Theres other 3rd party tools and wizards to customise things. And if you use the API it's almost limitless what you can do with it...
