New Dumby Website.....

Here's a new Dumby website by Jonathan Bean, plenty of photos, videos and good topos.

He's still tweaking little bits but says it's pretty much ready to use, no excuses now, get to Dumby!  :)

Good work mate  :great:

Wow, that's really good. Effort. I'm still unlikely to ever go mind...

That's really quite good, nice design and very good topos. Isn't Consolidated just an extension + bad beta for Hard Cheddar??

Effort - obviously a lot of work has gone it to the site and looks great!

Might need to consider a sub-nav, eg when gallery/videos start to get fleshed out...

Thanks for the feeback.

Yeah, a sub nav is a good idea when content starts to fill out. I might even give each problems is own page bleau.info style but nicer  :) at some point.

Thanks Neil, seems fair since we visited you 2 weeks ago.

Consolidated isn't really an extension of hard cheddar, it is an elimate though.

It doesn't really use many of the hard cheddar holds (just a couple of the start holds). It stays below the lip of the boulder on the seconds half of the problem.

Tried to show that in the topo but pretty hard to describe really. Watch the Dumby Dosage vid at  07.36 its on there (not that it makes it much clearer)

Good work!  Went to Dumby for the first time last Saturday and thought it was a great venue.  There is not many areas in Britain where you get so many quality hard problems on big blocks in such a small area.  I need to get back and finish Sabotage but I think i'll wait until Spring as it was baltic!

That's a really good looking and well put together site  :great:

The photos make the place look really great, if I hadn't already seen what it looks like in the flesh, I'd be tempted to visit.

If only there was a way of capturing the unique dumby odour on the web  :-\

That website design is superb, well done.

I've only been to Dumby once on my way to Skye via Glen Nevis. Decent locals crag. Same vibe as Pex Hill but much more urban. Think the route I did was Stonefall Crack?

Hey man, went Saturday and Sunday and it was very foggy, Saturday was ok but the fog was a little worse on Sunday and some of the boulders had wet top outs, it was pretty cold both days but we got some climbing done...
