Interesting daily routine
November 30, 2009, 10:22:43 pm
Daily routine Tommy Caldwell uses to top up some fitness.

Pretty grueling! 5 Pull ups, 10 push ups, then 15 sit ups for 20 mins non stop.
I've been doing it everyday for a week now, and can feel it working in terms of fitness.

Leigh McGinley used to do 1 pull-up followed by 3 press-ups, then 2 pulls & 6 presses all the way up to 10 pulls and 30 presses as part of his session.

I indulged in some of this a few years ago.  It's top.

The "Edinburgh Gutterfighters" do something similar, which I would try if I didn't have bad wrists.

dead-mans fall, 1 fast pressup, bounce back to your feet, 5 rapid chain punches
dead-mans fall, 2 fast pressups, bounce back to your feet, 10 rapid chain punches
Continue increasing numbers until either vomit, faceplant, passout or all three combined

I think it's meant to both condition your body and get you used to getting back up after being knocked down.
