next level shoe advice
September 06, 2009, 01:38:15 am
yo,

iv been bouldering and rarely lead climbing for about 10 months or so. i have been using the Boreal Joker shoes (lace) and am thinking of getting a new different pair of shoes as mine are now old and not very usefull anymore. id like to go for something a bit higher level but still mildly comfortable??? i would like to get a pair of velcro shoes but im open to any other suggestions ???

this is the only video i have to show you my abilities... saying that, i would never climb this route as 'sloppilly' as i did in this clip again, just enough battery in a phone camera hindered my ability to get a good clip lol.

cheers  ;D

Just get something that fits well, if you've only been climbing for 10 months the shoes will not be holding you back.

Fit, Fit, FIT.
If you avoid the most solid board lasted boots and get something slip lasted you will be fine. They will give you the sensitivity and flex you need as you develop.
