As if it really needs mentioning, but last nights Frozen Planet was once again stunning, the "brinicle" was cool, but the wolf & bison is perhaps the most amazing wildlife footage I've seen to date...

I thought the wolf and the bison was brilliant and surprisingly emotional. However the look how we got the film at the end always reminds me of seeing the trick in a magic show - I'd prefer to see another 10mins of briniciles or penguins.

I particularly like the "making off's" at the end, shows the effort that goes into making them.

Next weeks episode is on humans in the arctic.

I think those last 10 minutes steal the show every time!
The brinicle?
Stunning.
That clip's gone viral already, had several farcebook links to it yesterday, before the show aired.

Could easily be in "One for the Surfers" but BBC4 had "Riding Giants" on over the weekend, catch up on it...

It takes a nation of Stallions to hold us back...
My mate Teddy Lowton from Wigan toured with PE back in the 80's, I never got how this wasn't more confusing as he calls everyone 'chuck' all the time.

Anyone watched the first episode of Earthflight? Not sure as an overall I'd say "must watch", but the in flight shots are pretty stunning, esp in HD.

Quality leaves a lot to be desired, but Orbital at Tribal Gathering in 1996 (according to the graphics at the start, not the title!)

Make sure you old skool Sheffield climbers and ex-UKC followers tune into the next Come Dine With Me, because it features no less than """bohemian erotic author""" Jude Calvert-Toulmin  :ninja:

If they'd timed it a bit better they could have had this other Sheffield mentalist on the same show...

Not really TV or iPlayer, but worth watching a few if you loved them back in the day (like I did)

A Prophet is on Film 4 Friday 24th February @ 23:00.

Brilliant film, highly recommend it if you've not already seen it (more comprehensive review in The Guardian).
