I have some. They're ok. The increased feel is occasionally useful, as is the extra toe pull. Having said that, there is a better shoe for almost any given problem. Anything smeary you can forget. The Jet 7 is a much better shoe in every regard.

I bought some, quite impressed with fit, until I tried to heel hook. Shoe actually came off foot. WTF were they thinking. Are the heels the same on Jet 7's????

They fit me well and are very comfy, but it's 2mm rubber over an unlined, unstiffened shoe. So very sensitive very very soft, and therefore very specialist. The heel is fine for me. Awesome for pulling with your toes, hard to put pressure through the toe.

Very happy with mine. Originally felt that for any given problem there was a better shoe available, but after wearing them amost exclusively for the last months, going back to dragons felt very clunky and imprecise. The life of this shoe is half that of the dragon though, and although I now really rate them, and have none of the heel issues above^, they are nowhere near the Jet7.

I qualify the above by stating these shoes were used only indoors.

Maybe its my heels and not the shoe, which is the prob then :-\. Having tried the a bit more they are very very comfy, whilst being precise. Looking at the various shoe threads on here the Jet 7's seem to get the thumbs up from everyone. Does anyone rate the La Sportiva - Solutions ?? expensive I know, but does all the science make any difference?

Some people like the solutions (Crouch?) but the only pair I had hold of, a couple of years ago, didn't impress. I felt the cushioned heel in a a pair of performance shoes was unneccesary and detracted from "feel". Front end looked nice tho'. Thought they would be OK for knocking in nails.

They are absolutely amazing for anything steep that requires a lot of heel action. The heel on it is still the only one that has truly never gave me any problems (having tried many others!). The toe is good but does round off a fair bit in comparison to the Dragons I had... so is a tad less precise on the board or Pill Box Wall.

If you are considering them they obviously stretch out a lot being Sportivas, so try going 3 sizes down from your street shoe!

I'm getting another pair next month at long last, after making these ones last a year. I tend to try and use them as sending shoes to prolong the life as well (using my 5X's or Jet 7's to circuit and work things).
