Thought I'd chuck a few of my old favourites on here for your perusal. Most have been seen around on UKC and the like previously but since Delta Airlines lost some 250 of my slides plus 2 camera lenses (including my beloved Nikon 500mm mirror telephoto!) back in 1992  I don't have as much to put out there as I once might have!   I'd stick Delta Airlines in room 101 but that would be far to good for them!!

great quality pics. Good scans from slides too, do you play with levels much. Shame they are shady and a bit flat, but i guess you don't do hard routes in full Australian sun!

Cheers again Chris. Yesterday Gully & Bolte Wall are about as shady as you can get at Araps. The best days to climb there in summer are generally the days with the flattest light conditions. These are completely undoctored scans as well and one day I'll get round to mastering photoshop and doing a bit of work on them.

Indeed! Lou was seriously strong at the time. A few months earlier in the UK she flashed Lord of the Flies at the Cromlech and London Wall at Millstone (both on-sight - and this was in 1985!) I should point out that she was having to compensate for a sprained ankle when she was trying Wackford - you can see the tape on her left calf.)

Very cool fin of rock and a great shot. Apparently some of the gear is slings threaded through holes in the thin bits of the arete.
