i can't find it on the net but there's a shot in the current Alpinist of Alex huber on some monster route on the Tre Cime. Took a while to dawn on me that it could only have been taken from a helicopter. mental.

Horizontal climbing on jugs: if anyone wants to train for this they've just finished the new tiny corner at Leeds wall where the campus board used to be to these specifications. Of course the climbing is marginally spoiled by the possibility of bridging between the sidewalls if you wanted to...

Absolutely nothing. A simple case of fixing something that wasn't broken. I cannot bring myself to mention the proposed new location.

I agree that new bit of wall is a waste of time and i thought, even with the occasional dabbage on the walls, it was good to have the campus board tucked out of the way to allow focus.

Still to be confirmed but the ugly rumour is that, if you imagine the double cave as a huge pair of arsecheeks, the campusboard will be occupying the central thong region(the pillar) Standing there on a thursday evening watching how busy the wall is just made me think how ludicrous that particular brainwave would be.

Aaah Nowra, home of dirty caves , boulder length routes, chipping, spooge and tickmarks - Heres some shots from a mate's recent trip (probably the only dry place after 12 consecutive days of rain). Nice shots, just a shame about the tight ropes.
