Was up wit wife and jon on Sunday at the plantation, I wasnt climbing just chillin and taking a few photies.Few people around under deliverance etc, ron was out and it was a bit warm.Noticed a heli over win hill and an ambulance coming under high neb. thought no more of it.
20 mins later a paramedic is sweating his way up the path along with a mountain rescue bloke. i thought it was an exercise. But they go up to this guy who had been sat quietly under the deliverance side of the pebble and give him oxygen or whatever whilst around 30!!! other mtn rescue geezers bumble up with a stretcher, get him in it and clatter back down the path! i talked to the other people at the crag and they reckon he`d done something to his knee, so hed said!

Scary! You don`t often get a heli callout bouldering now, do you? Still,
you could hurt yourself if you landed badly off Deliverance, missed the
mats, etc. Rocktalk thread is suggesting a back injury?? If it was just a
knee then couldn`t he have hopped down, the wuss!!

Bit out of order calling the mtn rescue out for a knee! They`ve got more
important things to be doing than that, what a waste of time.

I`ve hobbled out of Burbage with a screwed ankle before - yeah, it hurt
but I wasn`t going to call out the bloddy rescue over it!
