Stolen Camera
June 19, 2009, 08:31:09 am
Not mine, but a friend was burgled last night and had his Nikon D700, 14-24mm, 24mm, 50mm and 105mm prime lenses, plus various accessories (filters, cable release, 2 camera bags etc), a Macbook and Sony Vaio laptop nicked.  Since there are quite a few Sheffielders here thought I'd post a heads up in case anyone comes across such items for sale.

Fucking sucks, but at least he was insured up to the eyeballs.

I expect so, he has a 1TB RAID NAS and takes pics every day, at worst he'll have lost that days pics.

make sure he checks out gumtree and ebay etc.

if he can post up the serial numbers, make sure people know what to look for (note to everyone, always make a note of your serial numbers...)
