No you're fine mate because your team already existed. You just lose the mandatory 50 points at the end of the season for supporting Man United.  :devil-smiley:

Very kind of LVG to provide the League Cup game against Milton Keynes with some narrative interest.  Thanks to the poor performance against Sunderland, what would have been a "send out the stiffs" runaround that I would normally not bother watching is now replete with morbid curiosity.  Is there no end to man's genius - he must have known I had just finished off my House of Cards box set.

If sequential relegations see you down in league 2 you may garner some sympathy... but probably not much ;)

Is that a Gideon bible in Giggs hands or has he borrowed David Moyes' set piece laminates?

Just realised that Colin Wanker has been given the Palace job. Thought it was a joke at first!

This season is already a classic.

A rare apeparnace here for me, but the Blues at work have been having a field day with the few Reds, on a mor interesting note is wll the Glazers financial structures withstand more than 2 years with no European Cup football and will they lose the ability to attract the 'top' players?

I can only imagine they are holding Di Maria's family captive or have offered him insane money.

It seems Leeds, Man United and Palace are having some sort of competition to see which club can be the biggest joke this season.

Pretty sure Leeds will win with that nutcase in charge but I must say it's all very entertaining.

I hope Chelsea have some head-torches ready for their Champions League tie!

Not mordor - it represents a coal mine - the local industry and part of the heritage of Schalke.... A leftfield - but interesting idea. They're presently re-sculpting the tunnel area of the KC to look like the inside of a fish....

Typical City  :slap:

I listened to the game on holiday and that is exactly what I said to my better half.
We will never truly be free from the "typical city" antics.

Time will tell, but it seems to have been a very very good transfer deadline day for Hull \o/

Excellent David Conn article on third party ownership of players and "the must powerful man in football". Unsurprising to see that total cunt Peter Kenyon up to his eyes in it too....

Sounded about as exciting as the Sheff Weds vs Ipswich match last night.

I usually take my Man City supporting mate along with me to these matches but he declined a few months back when it was first mentioned after seeing 3 dour draws at Hillsborough in a row (one in the cup against Man City IIRC). Without Grumpy Mike being in attendance I thought my luck might change and I would see a game packed full of entertaining end to end football packed full of goal mouth action and the like. Fat bloody chance! :(

I've lost count of the number of utterly shite Wednesday v Brighton games I've been to at Hillsborough, and we never win!

I thought I'd unjinx it by not bothering with the last one (on a miserable Tuesday night IIRC) but apparently it was still bloody awful and of course we lost in the 90th minute.

Watched a live stream of the Brighton Cardiff game last night where once again we absolutely battered a team and somehow managed to draw (this time mainly because of their keeper). It's becoming a theme.  :furious:
