This season we've been the first to play Sunderland and Palace after their manager was hoiked, and on Saturday we've WBA :D shame it's typically led to better rather than worse performances!

It's bonkers that Pards is the second longest serving manager in the PL.. At this rate Bruce'll be 3rd!

Anyway. Watch out fantasy footwallahs - I've finally bothered to change my team... I'm gonna do a Robson inspired WBA and be bottom at Xmas and erm erm erm... Survive?

AVB looked like a rabbit in the headlights when things were going badly this season and at Chelsea, I can see why owners/directors lose confidence in him. I suppose a comparison is Moyes at United but Moyes gives the appearance at least of being made of sterner stuff.

Contrary to the press, I can quite see why he played a high line at home off the back of 2 wins. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, if it his team had clicked, the same pundits would of been singing his praise for his 'bold, pressing, attacking football'. Ridiculous.

A bad and embarrassing defeat, but they were hardly in freefall. 7th in the table 5 points off 4th spot, and sitting above Man U.

He's lost his best player, and had a footballing director bring in 7/8 new guys, and the Scum have some significant injuries. I feel sorry for AVB, but not for that club, no offence to Sherwood, but he's hardly 'proven'. I think this is going to be funniest fuck up in ages.

Villas-Boas still departed having secured Spurs' highest points tally of the Premier League era, and with the best win percentage, at just over 53%, of any Spurs manager in the past 20 years.

I blame Levy.

Carve is a very appropriate term for one so wooden ;)

Lawrenson has looked at deaths door the last few TV appearances - but I like the coming through pundits like Savage (he's not so much of a cock nowadays) and in particular Kevin Kilbane.. who is quite neutral to listen to but has the added bonus that MrsTT drools when he's on screen, so it helps maintain MOTD on screen in our house :D

Anyway, no matter how you may hate the BBC's pundit line up - it beats the shit out of ITV's... Andy Townsend... Adrian Childs... I rest my case..

The world of football punditry would be a duller place without people like Garth Crookes on tv

Fuck, its so true. Townsend is a prick but at least he played, Adrian Childs is the single most ignorant pundit out there. How as he ever made a career out of hosting football shows? Someone is having a fucking laugh somewhere
