  • In my dreams
Nothing going on for us but I'll be rooting for Hull, Brighton, Wednesday, Posh & Hudds or Barnsley depending on the result tonight, hopefully sending Millwall down.

Hadn't noticed how tight it is between Wednesday & Millwall, same goals For & Against (is it H2H that seperates them?).  So, a Palace win puts them below Wednesday on GD and is another buffer.

While this is the league of shocks and non-form Wednesday are in a decent place being the only home team of the four most-likely to go down, and playing a team who haven't won away since early December.  But I understand your nerves, been there so many times.

The Bantams are going to Wemberley AGAIN thanks to Nahki Wells from Bermuda and James Hanson from the Co-op.

It can't be a coincidence that Dean Saunders parted company with Wolves yesterday  ;)

Moyes favourite. Old red nose is staying on as a director at the club - be interesting to see how a new manager copes with that.

They have said it needs to be sometime with Champions League experience which would rule out Moyes.

Can't see rednose approving or working with Mourinho either but you never know.

Also, apart from at Porto, Mourinho's success has been built on piles of transfer cash so unless the Glazers are about to change their spending habits he might not be the best choice.

Whoever they appoint, they aren't going to have any where near the level of influence on and off the pitch that redface has developed over the years. Expect to see more penalties given against United and perhaps even a red card in a Premier League game before the title has been decided.

My favourite radio phone in punter hyperbole about this so far today are

"I've been crying. It's just like a family member has died"

"i feel someone has ripped my guts out with a spoon"

Wasn't there a red card against Chelski on Sunday?

My point exactly. The game was meaningless to them.

From Twop Twips on Twitter:

MAN UNITED. A carriage clock with 6 extra minutes on it would be a suitable retirement gift.

football and news don't belong together unless you live your life vicariously through the dubious achievements of others that you have decided to associate yourself with, even though they couldn't care if you live or die.

Getting my coat. TAXI!
