I'm glad we don't have to play Manure in the semi-final.  Would have been a bag of nerves all the way through at the prospect of a double.  I still reckon we'd beat them on the day mid but still I'd rather play Chelski.  Should be a good'un.

Yes seeing as you've utterly arsed up the league I was getting worried they might do the double too!

That's why I've been quiet on here..... I suspect we'll close the gap now Kompany is back but it's done and dusted for Man U. Particularly when they get three points from deflected goals at Sunderland.  They were shite today though and everyone saw it so that's good :-)

News from the deepest darkest nether Nells of NLS-dom.

Did you here the one about the Darlo fans who went to see the game at Sunderland RCA?

And went to Ryhope CW instead…

(And now, a question of morality:

Would you have asked for a refund under those circumstances?)

So an interesting weekend in football ...
Hull are now several points clear in automatic spots
Brighton are in playoffs
and I witnessed a brilliant match at wolves with a ncie away win

on the other side Newcastle get into a fight with the police and Millwall "fans" have let there club down yet again. This ahead of next weeks earlykick off against us where the millwall lot are known to be out for blood after they get jumped on there way to the match last time.
+ )

As much as I want to see the match I think I will give it a miss and spend the day away from Huddersfield. sad really

Blackburn away tonight a win could put us pretty much safe of relegation.

I love this time in the season :)

Hoping for Hull and Hudds wins tonight to keep wolves and blackburn pinned back. Couple more tricky games for blackburn vs Watford and Palace then we could send them down with the dogheads on the last day, just need villa to collapse last few games (but stoke would be a nice consolation) and it could be a decent season without actually achieving anything ourselves.  Suppose that's one of the things about football, you can always take comfort in somebody else's misery.

I started believing it might happen about 5pm on Saturday...
I let my mind wander into the "what failing EPL players would we sign if we went up" thoughts etc..

Season pass now re-ordered for next year

Now I'm bricking it!

Goal difference means 6 points isn't quite as comfortable as it sounds.. Anything can happen in this league at the moment....

Completely agree! it would be a nice concsolation if the unthinkable happened to play in the same league as bradford again would be great.

Not been to valley parade in about 5 years.

Following an incredible second half of the season, Mansfield Town won the Blue Square Premier on Saturday and have regained our traditional place in the football league after five years. First time we've won a division in my lifetime! :dance1: ;D

Brilliant.  I was at the Spuds v City yesterday sat at the end of the row with two seats and a placcy bag between me and the Spurs fans.  I got loads of abuse during the last twenty minutes, not helped by the three very pissed 19 year old City fans who'd wound the fuck out of them during the first half.  Good job I'm not easily frit.

Look on the bright side. You might get an away trip down south (from London) next season.

I'm starting to believe....

Did Gaddafi nearly buy Crystal Palace?

http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2013/apr/17/did-colonel-gaddafi-almost-buy-crystal-palace

I post this purely because it mentions that the rumour that P. Diddy was interested in buying Palace was actually nearer to reality and of course that means I can repost this:

Yup, tonight we need Nigel Pearsons Leicester to beat Wtford and we're promoted. Otherwise it depends on us beating Barnsley on Saturday.

I'm dreading tonight already...

Conversely, we could do with a win for the Italian side tonight. That would mean a point at Elland Road tomorrow would guarantee us a playoff place (Forest turning round a 19 goal deficit in 2 games notwithstanding). And I'm going, with the sprog....

What a season it has been!  :2thumbsup:

I was going to say you shouldn't have anything to worry about but then I looked at the fixtures / points / goal difference again.......... and you really could do with a draw or worse for Watford tonight!

Still think you'll beat Barnsley tomorrow to make it safe anyway though.
