Okay I just found this and think its an interesting read you might not agree.
While reading the bull shit rules that West yorks Police have given for town V hull see here:
http://www.ambernectar.org/blog/2013/02/why-city-should-reject-the-huddersfield-allocation/
http://www.htsa-online.co.uk/2013/02/joint-statement-between-htsa-hull-city-supporters-club-regarding-west-yorkshire-police-wyp/

I came across the notes from a meeting between Huddersfield Town supporter trust and West Yorkshire police
http://www.htsa-online.co.uk/2013/01/meeting-with-wyp-25012013/

HTAFC £240k out of pocket due to WYP due to the police not allowing matches to be on TV ...
The police's response to this is fantastic:
WYP were surprised to learn we knew about this and their understanding was that it was not common knowledge

A modest proposal -

Thanks to this utter nonsense, each and every football supporter without a game of their own on 30th March, and who can travel to Huddersfield should endeavour to do so.

Just to travel to Huddersfield, because of its historic charm and urban attractions.

Not, you understand, in any way shape or form associated with a football match during the same evening.

Was just about to post this on the same subject:

http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2013/feb/15/nikola-zigic-dropped-birmingham-training
Strange to say this in an interview but I guess hes pissed off.
Quote
Birmingham City manager Lee Clark has dropped Nikola Zigic from his squad following a lack of effort by the striker in training.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21472201

Is Lee Clark getting stick from the fans for not starting Zigic Ian?

Only just spotted these, sorry.

Yes, he got stick initially for dealing with it all in public and leaving us short up front.  Then after being played off the park, conceding four and offering nothing in attack the shortsightedness of his decision (and the fact that these same players (plus a few he brought in) were challenging for promotion last year) is being used to hang him.  Even the most forgiving have had enough, he's rightly under pressure and has started mumbling random crap about how his brothers and sisters went without so he could have football boots, yada yada yada.  And of course Zigic will be starting tonight...

Looks like we blew the Championship title / promotion / playoff race wide open again last night. About time we won a game we probably didn't deserve to (based on stats).

 :dance1:

I'm off to the Amex on Saturday when we will inevitably revert to battering teams without scoring and/or letting in last minute equalisers.

Why has new Man Utd chief executive Ed Woodward got three "d's" in his name? Because if he didn't, he'd be Ewoowar.

Oh yes.. Thanks very much to bhafc and cafc :)

Interesting watching the Egyptian evolution at Hull... I think the quality of the football in the Championship has gone up a notch this year... There are several teams trying to play rather than the usual one or two playing nice stuff and the rest hoofing.. (No busses were present at the KC on sat Jasper ;) )

Meanwhile, the Football Supporters' Federation threaten to "go to 11" in their campaign against West Yorkshire Police -

Justice strikes again. Inter fined 50,000 euros for waving bananas and shouting racial insults. I'm sure that fine will really a hurt a small club like Inter.

Balotelli gets 10000 euros for giving them the finger............

Interesting. I think Abramovich has been quite canny - installing a temporary manager with something to prove - but given his liverpool history is also a lightning rod for all the disquiet around Chelsea that really should be aimed at the owner..

I was going to make a cheeky comment about Poyet being in the frame - but I think Gianfranco is more in the potential spotlight at the moment. Who knows - but it needs to be someone strong to deal with that dressing room. Ironically, the player power seems to develop from the Mourhinio years - when he created a very strong team spirit...

Not his best article IMHO - (picking at scraps the BBC have thrown out from their footy focus interview I guess) but he's normally a great writer.

I'd normally say that it's too soon for Poyet to be given such a big job but with Roman in charge, anything is possible (unfortunately). However, how about this scenario? It'd be hilarious.......

Remember just after RDM's appointment, Terry being subbed and standing alongside him on the touchline doing most of the pointing, gesturing and shouting?  Had to wonder then who was pulling the strings in that dressing room.  It's inevitable he'll go on to manage them surely, he's taking his coaching badges so the intent is there and you can't really see an ego like his starting off in the lower leagues.  Good piece by IMac.
