So we've got chelsea at home and bratfud have got arsenal at home. Double giant killing and the yorkshire dream team final could still be happening!! Looking at the results so far it's a possibility, especially if Bratfud can take them to penalties.

I'm not sure my Gunners are Giants anymore  :'(

Terry scores.

Suarez scores.

Bet 365 suspend in-play betting on Oswald Mosley scoring the winner.

I'd like to have seen the odds on both scoring and Suarez crocking Terry.

Bradford City win on penalties AGAIN. Can the squad last the truly hectic pace?

First I have heard of this - the Duncan Jenkins parody tweet thing and what would appear to be a bit of an over reaction by LFC's Director of Communications.

The man behind the Duncan Jenkins blog gives his version of events here:o

Jen Chang Dir. of Comms sacked by LFC and a personal apology to Jenkins from the CEO.

Odd timing, with the Man Utd match tomorrow.  I reckon Tony Fernandes had a bet on Hughes not being the first managerial casualty of the season. Roberto De Matteo gets the boot, Tony rakes in his winnings down at William Hill, and then tips out the wheel-barrow of fivers at Hughes' gaff as severance.

... either that or Pep Guardiola has just revealed an irrational penchant for blue and white kits.

Brighton and Hove Albion - not just opposed to "safe standing" at Falmer [probably fair enough under the circumstances seeing as they'd have to put new profiles and "tip up" seats and barriers in] - but opposed to safe standing anywhere.

Quote
The club does not support any move for "safe standing" in football stadia and is not considering such a move for the American Express Community Stadium. We have just spent over £100 million developing a state of the art all-seated football stadium, recently named best new venue in the world. One of our main aims was to make the stadium fully inclusive for anyone who wishes to watch and enjoy football, regardless of their age, sex, height, or physical condition, and for them to do so in an atmosphere that is conducive to comfort, great views, and good behaviour. This is in stark contrast to standing areas where a large percentage of the general football watching population are excluded because they would be unable to actually see the pitch. In turn, standing areas create the potential for poor behaviour to go undetected and unresolved. As a club that is doing all it can to promote a family event atmosphere within the stadium and on its approaches, this would be a backward step.

not 100% sure why....

Interesting article about grounds and atmospheres
having been at both the Arsenal and Dortmund I'd have to agree that the atmosphere at BVB is massive - am a fan of both but in many ways would prefer to watch BVB...

in other news - anyone want a Chamakh - hardly used - free to a good home

Refers all all standing areas, not just Falmer.

Wow what a result for Bradford basically full strength arsenal too.
Listened all the way back from Depot and when I got home.

Arsenal players let the manager down.

Speaking of players letting the manager and fans down ... match report from Hudds v L**ds http://www.htfc-world.com/reports/Leeds5/leeds011212.htm

YYFY!!  ;D  :bounce:  :clap2:

Amazing night for the Bantams! Almost worth the 10 years of misery the club has endured since being relegated from the Premiership!

Hopefully they can ride this wave towards the primary objective of promotion from League 2. The much needed financial impetus coming from a two legged semi against another of the big boys will let us strengthen in January for a push for an automatic promotion spot... :greed:

As for Arsenal, how disheartening it must be for the likes of Wilshere and Oxlade-Chamberlain, when the older more experienced players around them show now guile, drive, passion or determination to wear the shirt....I can understand why the likes of Fabregas and Van Persie have jumped ship....Arsenal will never win anything again unless they change the heart of the team and Wenger starts facing facts...
