It is, except at the moment I'm experiencing a really weird situation.

Having lived in Sheffield for 20 years and having basically had the piss taken out of me constantly by numerous Wednesday and United fans ("what division are they in?" "do Brighton have a team" etc etc) now the tables have turned.

Not only are we in the division above both Sheffield sides we have higher average attendance, a better stadium, a more sound financial situation, a better manager and (last few results notwithstanding!) play better football.

Now I get United / Wednesday fans saying "Who is it you support? Oh Brighton, yeah they're doing alright aren't they." or something similar as they look dejectedly at their feet.

As I say, it's good but it's fucking strange. Suppose if you live in London / Manchester you've no chance of ever experiencing anything like it.

Yup. Not good news. He's spent ages build his squad. Young players he wanted to get in. I'm not convinced he's he best manager for us as he seems a bit one dimensional and his tactics are defence based. But I dont want to see any upheaval.

What's worse is that were now being linked with Mclaren (ex hcafc) as a possible replacement. God knows what that would bring.

Who knows, but lcafc's cash probably speaks volumes...
