The pink Nobo shirt is legendary among Brighton fans!

You always see a couple of these gem's... esp at special/big games.. I think with the flat cap and some stubble it would be a stong look for 3T ;) not for me mind, horizontal stripes make me look fat :)

Bulgaria were bloody awful though weren't they? Still, nice to see how England play without Steeeeveee Geeee and Lampard.

I watched the last half hour and was glad I didn't bother with the first hour. Especially as it was on ITV.

Wales were unlucky to be beaten some shite team who had one good move in 90mins.
Wales passed them off the park for long periods.
Also there was an amazing move where Bale took the ball past Bale (according to ITV)

In other news did you hear frank Lampshade has disappeared he was last seen training at wembley prior to kick off last night. He was caught on camera briefly at around 9pm kicking a ball at a low flying air craft then faded into the darkenss.

Haven't got time to read all this at the moment but it looks absolutely fascinating (especially for Arsenal fans or stat people):

Thing is, who is going to investigate him, Blatter? When the whole organisation is totally corrupt it becomes sort of pointless. What a mess.

Maybe they should get the IPCC to have a look ;)

They have hired a guy who used to work for the FBI (could be female body inspector I guess) to investigate the corruption. Unless they are paying him to look the other way?

So Garry Cook's resigned.  I can only assune that he's gone before he was pushed for Gross Misconduct. Not because of the email contents but because he cackhandedly lied about the manner in which i got sent.  He's been a great (albeit controversial) CEO for MCFC but this is the right decision.  Now back to football.

Bring in Dzeko as new captain for the FF and he is benched, great  :slap:

Looking forward to 3pm and some decent football matches today.. less of that international nonsense  ;D

It'll be good to see how Brighton's new star gets on

Not yet.

Manchester City's outgoing chief executive Garry Cook offered no apology last night and portrayed himself as a victim of a "personal" focus as he resigned over an email to the mother of defender Nedum Onuoha, which mocked her fight with cancer.

Nice idea, those stripes would set the tweed jacket and the brogues off a treat...

In Hammers-related news it sounds like today's game was a corker, and Jasper - you were right about Lansbury, the Guardian singing his praises in the post-match report!

nice link I like this statement:
Quote
the salutary lesson of Garry Cook’s self-defenestration wasn’t that he was a buffoon with a talent for putting his foot in his mouth, then shooting it,
they do also then say:
Quote
but that he was, gaffes aside, a very good Premier League Chief Executive.
