I dont know why I like Balotelli but I do. Hes a bit of a tit and fucks up all the time.
He can't even work out how to wear a bib. I think its his honesty that sold me. When he was interviewed after the final and had the game of his season and said on live tv "This season I have been shit can I say that?" (or words to that effect).

... OH balotelli, hes a striker. He drives round moss side with a wallet full of cash but when he plays he fucking class. Oh Balotelli ...
 :great:

At least you've got some sponsors, apparently ours had an opt-out clause if we got relegated and the club didn't think to have a backup plan in place.

Couldn't find a sponsor but still managing plenty of spin.  Unique Match by match opportunity my arse

It's that time of year again where I attempt to challenge for a top four place despite being hamstrung by more moral dilemmas than Arsene and end up with nothing while everyone else picks Rooney, Nani and Cashley and batters me:

Jacob Steinberg gets it right about Balotelli:

What a goal that was by Mancini by the way.

Given and N'zogbia are two very good signings for Villa.

Think Aguero could be a great signing for City. Isn't it funny how the doubters are already out in force with the usual bullshit about foreign players and the "wet Wednesday night in Stoke" crap. I saw the Spanish paper Marca had joined in saying:

'It has all the hallmarks of a historic mistake. The climate of Manchester can depress anyone.'

But all these fuckers conveniently forget that The Scum have been successfully assimilating foreign players into their team IN THE SAME CITY for years.

I recall a chap called Eric Cantona from sunny Marseille who did ok and if we're talking about Central / South Americans then I haven't heard Javier Hernandez complaining about the weather in Manchester. He's been too busy scoring shitloads of goals. Nobody ever mentions that stuff when Man U sign foreign players, why is that?

Just because Tevez is a prick it doesn't automatically mean that all Argentinians who sign for City are going to be the same. Aguero might be a flop but he might also be a massive success. Speculating based on his nationality and the side of the city he's going to is borderline racism and the usual Man U bias rolled into one. It stinks.

 :shit:

how the hell do these fifa rankings work?
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/14318611.stm

Quote
top seeds •Pot One: England, Spain, Holland, Germany, Portugal, Italy, Croatia, Norway, Greece
Norway + England amounst the top seeds, Czech republic pot 3  :-\
So we could potentially have a qualifying group with
France, Czech rep, Scotland and wales

Also Goal line technology might finally be here: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/14322449.stm
There is no reason that this should not be available. The technology has helped cricket, rugby and tennis. All these sports have alot less money floating around so the funding issue is a lame excuse

We're going to avoid Spain, Netherlands and Germany, which means we should have nothing to worry about.
Surprised to see Portugal and Norway still top eight, Russia a potential banana skin in pot2, would rather avoid them than France.

I wouldn't be too concerned about Russia:

Although England are capable of losing to anyone of course.

Does it really matter where we're seeded? We are shit, with a group average skilled players (who happen by vitue of where they were born to be playing in one of the best leagues in the world). These average players for a variety of reasons manage to underperform at every international tournament. For me it will be less painful if we don't qualify - never mind fuel the media with the "we are one of the favourites" line that somehow I'll end up believing only for it all to come crashing down again.

We are making it look hard at the moment but should be a new manager in by the time this campaign kicks off and hopefully a new-look team with cashley, frank, JT, Gerrard all wrong side of 30.  Maybe we could find some Spaniards with English grandparents..

I was hoping we would have dumped the lot of them (well certainly Fat Frank and JT at the very least) after the last World Cup. The brave thing would have been to do so and start from scratch with younger players who might fail to start with but would become a team given time rather than a collection of egotistical individuals.

:agree: :goodidea:

The sooner JT, Lampard, gerard and cashley etc are put out to pasture the better. Its time England places were earned not gifted as they played in last match.
