He will have know the players were going, just the points deduction he wasn't expecting.  If we start next season it could be with just one first team regular from last season, can't have happened too often before.  New manager, new team and no doubt new owners coming soon.

Bet the Premier League are breathing a big sigh of relief that we got relegated now and this isn't their problem.

Feel sorry for you. Just been reading this http://www.buildabonfire.com/ which brought back the horror of what we went through in the mid nineties. A very interesting snapshot of a different time when the biggest threat to clubs was rogue owners of a different type. The moral being that a club is the supporters more than anything so will always survive as long as it has them.

LA LA LA LA CAN'T HEAR

Cheers but no need really, we've had our day in the sun which a lot of teams and their fans will never get to experience.  As Blues fans sing every week, "As you go through life, it's a long long road, there be joys and sorrows too".  This is just another of the latter.  The club may as well fold now, realistically it's never going to get better than the Carling Cup win and I'd have swapped that day for relegation (although maybe not this season) and years in the championship beforehand.  End it now and let me be free.

Will someone please sign Bullard? Please?

He's always going to be a hero at Brighton for scoring the winner against Palarse at Shithurst Park when we had him on loan a few years ago but no, I've heard nothing about that (and I'm constantly scouring the internet for information!).

We have just signed Bergkamp though:

http://www.theargus.co.uk/sport/9116076.Albion_sign_Bergkamp/

 ;D

LA LA LA NOT LISTENING......

What's going on at Arsenal? If this happens, Fabregas goes to Barca (or Real who are supposed to be putting a cheeky £50m bid in!) and this is true.....

http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011/jun/30/arsenal-gael-clichy-manchester-city

...then they're going to be sat on a massive pile of cash and a squad with the heart ripped out of it.

Norwich offered £1.75m about two weeks ago (according to the mirror) which we turned down and said we wanted £3m but I think now he said he wants to leave he will go for over £2m ish.
Leicester is another team who may be interested they have bought our rightback peltier for around the £1m mark and their coach Fazackerley used to be ours.
Hes a skill full both footed winger who likes to cut insde, can score wonder goals and can also play up front or as an attacking mid so think there will be a few teams interested.

Thought it might be Norwich. Leicester are spending some serious money.

could be a bad week for gooners? Reported in the fail

I am surprised Wenger is willing to let so many big name players go unless he has replacements? Is it time Arsenal got a new manager who will build a squad to win titles instead of one to develop players?

The mirror is claiming he is looking to buy doyle from wolves but surely the main target should be after a replacement for fabregaz?

Transfer window looks pretty busy this year with Man U having a clear out, chelsea have a new manager and there players are getting a bit old, Liverpool are pushing to get back into europe and Man City are being Man City. This could be an interesting premier league next year.

Unbelievably it now seems that Mackail Smith has turned down Leicester and West Ham and is currently having a medical at Brighton....

Apparently Poyet did a great job of selling the club to him based on the plans he and Bloom have. Rumours already that another big deal is on the way and the transfer record will be broken again. This is all pretty amazing.  ;D

Very good. As he says, Blackpool & Burnley have proved that it doesn't have to be like that.

Just read this on the bbc website. Congratulations he was a nightmare in the play off final. Hes a good player and hard work for a defence to deal with.
The confusing thing is he wanted to play at in the premier league I guess the PL did not want him. Also I guess he has confidence you are going somewhere unlike peterborough who are heading for relagation ... am not bitter ... honest

Wasn't the whole point of "having to win this group" so that we'd avoid Germany in the QF?
