everybody said the same when Dalglish was linked with them in the 90s.

give anyone a big enough challenge wedge and they'll come.

Everyone was chuffed when Dalglish came. I'm not sure it'll be the case if Diego rocks up.........

Probably not but it'd be absolute dynamite for the rest of us.

These two look a bit of a mismatch, a dodgy used-car salesman (probably says "trust me" a lot while smiling widely) and his harassed accountant always worried about what his partners doing and trying to cover up all sorts of wrong doings.

I know! If it was Newcastle I'd be pissing myself....... It's not though, it's a small club that, despite new "rich" owners, isn't a club that can afford to go down. Hopefully it'll all work out for the best, it'd be a shame for all the hard work and money that have maintained Blackburn as a top ten side for 6 of the previous 9 seasons to all go up in smoke.

As soon as they wandered onto the pitch panic bells started ringing, I agree with your assesment!

That the new owners have opened a new fast food outlet in India is the lead story on Blackburn's website

Owner looking good, described on a Blues forum as a pirate John Travolta

Graham Taylor boycotts poultry over Big Sam sacking.

This is NOT a Daily Mash story.

Quote from: Newspaper of The Decade: The Lancashire Post
Taylor was famously branded a ‘turnip’ by a newspaper during his time as England boss but has now directed his anger at a different food product.

Don't worry Graeme, you'll no doubt be able to catch it when you get up tomorrow morning at 7.30.

Didnt you see... two snow flakes and Londinuim is in paralysis!!  :jaw:

Was at the KC yesterday to see a great 2:0 win over Brizzle city. 442 attacking football - and both goals came from on the deck passes not our regular diet of hoofing it up to our virtual strike force. Our bandy legged Striker (Jay - I'd be 6" taller if my legs were straight - Simpson) scored a brace having done nothing for 15 games...

Happy days at the KC. Our new owners have invested £30million in cash and guarunteed another £10million outstanding.. (we were £40 million in debt -  ??? ) talk of new players, new plans... good stuff.

Did anyone see the Ipswich Leicester game yesterday? To say there was snow on the pitch would have been an understatement of grand proportions - they had to take the players off in the second half for about 15 minutes to clear the lines again.  :jaw: Just glad the ref didn't abandon the game as we were 3-0 up and we needed a decent result badly!

Not sure who it would have wound up more - Keane or me at work screaming at the radio for it not to be called off - oh the shame of it all.  :(

So we miss going top for Christmas.

Went to Eastlands last night with Mrs FD. It was absolutely baltic.  Everton defended superbly; every time we fired the ball into the box someone hoofed it or blocked it (there were several suspicious looking handballs).  City had 25 shots at goal with 15 on target but still couldn't scrape a draw.  We conceded the two goals by being asleep and ball watching.  Barry, Silva and Zabaleta were superb but YaYa was a bit off the boil.

Tevez decides to stay with no change in contract or T's and C's - apparently down to a mutual agreement with Khaldoon the Chairman that he's alllowed to walk in the Summer if City have no silverware in the cupboard or Champs league.  It's also rumoured that Khaldoon named players coming in January that settled Carlos down.  Beyond Dzecko which is apparently a done deal, it will be Torres or Ronaldo or cough..... Messi.

Who were the football masterminds who recently suggested Steve McLaren be reinstated as England manager just because he'd done well / been spawny in the tinpot Dutch league?

His Wolfsburg side are 5th bottom in the league, haven't won a game in 8, were just beaten 3-1 at home in the cup by a 2nd Division side and HE IS ABOUT TO BE SACKED.

DOH!  :wank:
