Does the opposition automatically get 3 points ?

I thought that was a given whether they stay in the league or not  :-\

Almost a given.  ;)

What happens if Portsmouth going into administration and are so fucked they can't play the rest of their games. Does the opposition automatically get 3 points or do you think they will wipe Portsmouth from this season's history?

Has this happened before?

Acrrington Stanley
Maidstone United

(Newport County in the Conference did it as well, IIRC)

Their record gets expunged - in the Football League as was - doubtless the Premiershi* tossers will invent some brand new rule to ensure the Scum, Chels, the @rse, and the Scousers get maximum points and into the top four and everyone else gets zippo.

Manc Derby looks tasty tonight... both sides have shite/makeshift debate. Mind you having said that it'll probably be 0-0!

Well 1-1 at half time but the Scum do look like the team that want it more.

Dodgy penalty. Yellow card correct but Scum unlucky to concede the penalty. Tough shit yer twats ;D

Just got back from Eastlands hoarse and exhausted from the last week of work and travel and the stress of the game.  I couldn't watch the last 10 minutes.  Really happy with the win.. Forza City!

Meanwhile experts studying last night’s Manchester derby have discovered that conditions on and off the pitch combined to create the 'perfect storm' for a Ferguson enpurplement.

What the TV didn't show was the flares that the Utd supporters brought into the ground (there's supposed to be a lifetime ban for that kind of thing), the seats they tore up and threw up at the City supporters and the showers of bottles, coins and other rubbish that were coming over throughout the game

SCUM indeed..

Although we did see Evra get hit by something from the crowd so not all scum are Scum

TV pundits were almost joking about the flares saying how it helped create an atmosphere.

There's a scum fan sat next to me at work and he really needs to change the record, he's had about six phone conversations and everyone of them has involved what a joke the ref was, that it wasn't a penalty or even a corner and it's only half time.  Oh, and he hates Carlos Tevez.  It's like a redface post match interview every ten minutes.

only concern after last night - in a world cup year - is that rooney is playing in a team that is nowhere near as good as him. he's on his own, and i hope that's going to be enough for his form come the summer.

Well wind the fucker up by agreeing with him that it wasn't a penalty (it shouldn't have been) "but tough shit you whinging Manc twat"

That's what I used to do but my old office was a bit more relaxed than most  :)

I agree, I just hope he hasn't worn himself out for the world cup too, same for Gerrard.

I was speaking to a Utd fan today who was still trying to tell me Tevez isn't a Utd player and they don't miss him. Yeah right.

well maybe the ManU fans have bigger things to worry about - like the debt that is now greater than $1 billion....

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/8470595.stm

Personally I was hoping for a a plague of 2-3 week injuries to hit the ManU squad before this weekends fixture...  ;)

How to respond to dreadful refereeing decisions - a lesson from Germany.

How do you reckon the likes of Colin, Taggart, Big Sam, young Royston, et al would respond to this one?
