Note how long it took to bring the matter to a close.  Funny that the hearing and subsequent touchline ban came after the Chelsea game and just prior to two games against Portsmouth and Everton... who'd have thunk it.

You can imagine the smug grins and knowing winks.

They were all over us second half although we always looked dangerous on the break. First half we could easily have been 4-0 up before they got the penalty. The first half hour was unbelievable, thought I was watching a different team. Hopefully it's the start of something rather than just new manager syndrome.

I'll stop gloating now but for anyone interested the highlights of the Southampton Brighton match are here.....

http://www.skysports.com/football/match_video/0,26719,11065_3192288,00.html

........wait til the end of Poyet's interview and there's a link.

Doesn't show the nailed on penalty we should have had or the three or four other great chances or Forster hitting the bar etc but there you go.

My brother was unimpressed that this was the end of Saints' 7 game non-losing streak, thanks to your guys.

This is cool......

By the way, a second win for Brighton (and Gus) last night but I'm not quite so confident about Saturday v Leeds. Especially as our first choice keeper is a doubt.

Good find, like the Mexico England Beware

I noticed this about seeding, etc.  Usual FIFA shenanigans.

Good win last night, bring on Rushden then hope for a local match in the third round....

Adam Crozier - business management genius.

I noticed this about seeding, etc.  Usual FIFA shenanigans.

Dodgy as fuck. It was a disgrace that the playoffs were seeded and it's a joke that the host nation gets seeded in the finals.

Be nice to make the third round and as you say get United or Wednesday!

Move along, nothing to see here - fifa official match report makes no mention of henry handball......... http://bit.ly/3w2sx4

what handball?

I couldn't believe what i was seeing last night.  I'm amazed I can't find a picture from a split-second later when every Ireland player in shot will be appealing.  Have fifa impounded all images of the incident?

Away at Donnie would be a good tie now they've a new ground,  I've not been there yet, managed to miss out last season somehow.

Fantasy League site is showing gameweek 23 not opening until the 21st. Ignore that it's an error

I think that means that the gameweek is open until 11:30 21/11/09.  Last transfers are an hour or so ahead of the weekend's first kick off.
