shame about Melo going to Juve - would have been a good player plus a good way of offloading Eboue and possibly Senderos aswell

That would be Tevez, Adebayor, Roque Santa Cruz, Robinho, and Wright-Phillips bought under Hughes' rein. Plus Benjani, Bellamy, Petrov, Elano, Bojinov, Caicedo and Jo (loaned to Everton admittedly) who were already in the squad!

Has anyone told the new owners that you can only have 11 people on the pitch at once? Or are do they plan to use an old-skool seven-up-front formation. Christ, no wonder they bought Barry and want John Terry - they'll be expected to shoulder the entire responsibility for defence and midfield!

It's bonkers isn't it. They were already pretty handy going forward but were let down by shipping loads of goals.......so are signing loads more strikers!? What's going on?

Arsenal should bite their hand off if they really are offering £25m for Adebayor after last season.

I'm totally mystified by our desire for Adebyour.
I can only assume that we have a bunch of defenders waiting in the wings to sign. Hughesy is going to have a helluva time managing all these primadonna strikers and I hope the groundsman has got a good broom for all the dummies that are going to be spat on the pitch from the bench each week as they all take turns.

The PL’s own game plays well and is free to enter, simply select a squad of 15 and manage it week to week. Easy!
