The Bantams are going to....... re-lay their pitch with the fee from Setanta who streamed the latest triumph to Cork, Lanzanote, Benin and all points south. I admit I only have the word of the Daily Mail  for this but it seems a good plan.

Really good Jonathan Wilson article on van Gaal...

http://gu.com/p/46gh8

I didn't know he'd lost millions in the Madoff ponzi scheme.

No wonder he's so grumpy.

I'd completely forgotten all about it, must be Christmas since I changed my team.  A relegation battle should make the end of the season more interesting, I'm not used to this mid table comfort Blues are in this season.

With only 4-5 matches to go in't big league and 2-3 for the rest of us, how's everyone feeling about their club's chances at this point in the season?

I know we have Sunderland and Hull fans on here, I'd be interested to know how confident you feel about the proverbial "squeaky bum time". Looks like Brighton are in the same position as us (Mansfield)- mathematically safe but not in a very encouraging way.

I lose track of who everyone else supports. Anyone's team have a chance of glory?

happy with towns end to the season. Its been a rough year up and down 5 games with out a win not so long ago currently 8 games without a loss.
1 above leeds and heading for mid table mediocrity that I wanted. Thankfully the worst teams in the championship have been a level below everyone else. None of them look like they will do much at league one level. Wigan look in the worst state with Dave whelan walking away relegation again next year?

Back when I was mad keen and followed Stags around the country we had a midwinter away fixture at Wigan. Their ground was a near-empty wooden horror, the pitch was 60% sand, their team, almost sarcastically wearing the colours of Inter Milan, barely completed a pass all match and we cruised to a 4-0 victory. Their fans didn't sing once and many left 15 minutes early.

We left in jubilant mood and I clearly remember thinking "no matter how bad it gets, at least I'm not a Wigan Athletic supporter".

Just over ten years later we'd dropped out of the league and they were in the fucking top flight. I'll be happy to welcome them back to the basement with open arms.  ;)

We've been shit this season. Looking forward to a massive clear out, some new players actually chosen by the manager (this will be the first time in three seasons that we actually have a manager for pre season) and to forget all about it.

My thoughts about tonight's result can be summed up by the following:

'USELESS FUCKING SCOUSE CUNTS, YOU ARE MEANT TO BE CHALLENGING FOR EUROPE BUT YOU CAN'T EVEN MAKE ALAN GREEN THINK THAT YOU CAN CHALLENGE HULL, FOR FUCKS SAKE, HULL, THEY ARE SHIT., YOU BUNCH OF USELESS SCOUSE CUNTS'

Well no, not summed up, just started really. Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck.

Football, don't you just fucking love it. Yes, no. Yes, no. Yes, no. Yes, no. Etc etc.

And breath.........................................
