Never feel sorry for Man U, never feel sorry for Moyes. He took the job so fuck him and fuck the lot of them.

Particularly Mick fucking Hucknall. The cunt.

I love this season.

How the fuck was the Ox's challenge on Suarez not a penalty?

And canny by the Ox to not actually challenge for the ball when Gerard fouled him. The Ox went for the yellow card and in my book kicked Gerard ;)

What goes around....... If you're going to hurl yourself to the floor clutching your face and brandishing imaginary cards whenever someone touches you, you can't complain when one goes against you.

Suarez is such a disappointing human being. Brilliant player, apparently a nice, surprisingly humble person.

Total cunt on the pitch.

I thought we played well overall.  Bad mistake by Pelligrini playing Demichellis which cost us (as it did against Chelsea) and Joe Hart should come further out from his line at times.  We were really good second half with ten men and we almost earned a draw if Valdes hadn't made a fantastic world class save to stop that shot from Silva.

I know it's a cliche to moan about refereeing but given the weird "don't touch anyone" standard that gets applied in the Champs League, we should have had a free kick for the tackle on Navas which saw City players standing still which led to the ball played into Messi and it wasn't a penalty.  Free Kick and a red card instead.

Still, this is football.  Gutted to concede that second goal.  We really need a bit of luck and an Aguerro/Silva/Toure combination at the Nou Camp to turn this one around.

Was there a game on tonight? I was still mulling over the intricacies of last night's match in the proper cup.

And if I can justify going to Hull for the replay......

Being a flippant cunt aside. If you look at the lineup of Barcelona v City it's not that individually players are better (although a few obviously are, and some aren't) it's that they're a team.

How long have most of those boys (Iniesta, Xavi, Messi, Busquets, Valdez etc) played in the same team?

Doesn't guarantee victory (see last season) but means a lot.

FFS Jasper, get yourself to Hull.

Unfortunately I will be n my way back from Germany on the 1/4 final date so I can't give you a lift down south.

Can meet you at the station and get a beer before the game no problem.. KC's a 15-20 min walk from the station..
Suspect there will be loads of tickets (home and away) as its a Monday night - and a long long way from the south coast..

Absolutely.  They are incredibly tight as a unit.  They just know where each other are..

Just go and beat them in Barcelona, if you play like you can its more than possible. They looked a better team last night and until you were up against it and down to ten men you didnt play like you can.

I am getting a bit sick of the referee blame, its every game. I truly believe that there was no way a referee could have known if that was a penalty or not last night, so which ever decision he made would not have been right to one of the teams. We all sit at home and watch the replays in slow motion with the pundits going through it frame by frame with a tape measure, and then blame the ref fro getting it wrong. The Suarez pen was the same at the weekend, although it was more clear cut the little shit dives to the ground every week and the refs are lambasted when the don't pull him up for it, so decide not to give it to him and lo and behold they get shot down for getting it wrong.

Damned if you do damned if you don't.

The managers need to either shut up and accept that its an imperfect game that more than likely levels its self out over time, or go down the stop start stop start route where the ref checks the replays; and i don't think the later will be good fro the sport.

Its to continuous play that makes footy the most watchable game of them all.

Good point... I think that managers just use it to deflect the debate from the playes and the team.  Shifting the blame for a poor performance so to speak.  Pelligrini is normally not one to comment on the ref but I guess these are the high pressure games.

I really like Pelligrini for that very reason, he has not been drawn into the petty whinging you get from some of the others. Lets hope this is just a bilp, although it does look like the pressure is starting to get to him a bit which Moriniho will love.

Please dont let Chelsea win anything though, i cant stand them.

Our season is pretty much done now, all but safe, out of both cups, and only a little glimmer of the poison chalice that is lower level European footy. I am loosing interest rapidly. And if your lot let the makems beat you at Wembley my life will be a misery, even if they go down.

It's a no win situation for you Gav.

We win and you will have to get a new phone number and FB login.

City win and you will have Martin being smug, especially if they win the league as well.

I guess the latter is the lesser of the evils.
