Riding the Golden Frame – 11th July, 1pm, Hunter’s Bar roundabout.

The Friends of the Peak District are organising a bike ride to look at some of the issues facing those who regularly use the Peak District's network of footpaths, bridleways and byways.  Starting at Hunters Bar roundabout, it will take in Clough Lane, Houndkirk Road, and Blackamoor.  Suitable for any regular mountain bikers, it will be a good opportunity to discuss the issues, meet new people who care about the Peak and enjoy a nice ride at the same time.

The bike ride is next saturday so I just thought I'd bump this.  Be really good if some of the regulars on here could join us as Friends of the Peak are keen to canvas opinion on a number of issues - 4x4's, 'improvement' of bridleways, further provision of bike trails in the Peak etc etc.

Also, the sun WILL be out and it'll be a good chance for a social.
