If you're in Sheffield can't you bob up and have a look? Suspect it's fine - was yesterday.

Not when you don't have a car and must rely on other transport

It was terrible out yesterday due to no wind and high humidity, things were dry but conditions were terrible. Looks like a little bit more wind today and slightly lower humidity. I'd be risking it if I wasn't at work but probably heading to exposed spots. good luck

Where were you Repute? Burbage valley had a stiff breeze and the rain held off until 1. Stuff on the crags were wet the south boulders were dry.

This is why conditions reports are practically useless. How can we talking about the same day (Monday)!

I went Gardoms then Mothercap. Things were dry but conditions terrible. It didn't rain all day. There was no wind anywhere.

HAYdn said it was ace at the Tor.

I was hoping to sneak out this morning before the rain arrives but it looks like it  sneaked in overnight in matlock. Anyone know if it's any better further north?

At Secret Garden.

An odd choice!

Might be OK higher up- Ms Cheque reported an inversion at Stanage c.9AM. It was hopping yesterday though.

An odd choice!

I was on a mission. Generally claggy. Be very surprised if Stanage was OK.

That should read Gopping. Now I'm outside I also doubt it's anything but fucked too.

Burbage north pretty much snow free by sunset today, few small drifts on the floor but very little on the rock. Guess Stanage will be similar. Bits that don't get the sun had snow stuck to them, it has been cold though ((snow still powdery), so there's a good chance it'll brush off if you get out early.

Ringinglow road is fine, usual patch of ice by Lady Cannings then a bit of snow on the hill after the cowperstone bend.

Wow, I didn't realise it had snowed so much.

I was thinking of going to Robin Hood's and Cratcliffe tomorrow - does anyone know if the roads are iced up?

Went to RHS today, was mostly fine on the roads, although Cliff Lane had a little bit of snow on it so if it's generally very icey tomorrow it might be a safer bet to use the bottom parking on B5056. A little bit of snow was left on some of the more sheltered things, but the majority of stuff was in good condition by late afternoon.
