I was hoping to head to BBG N tomorrow but similarly seeing a ever fading good forecast :( suspect some of the lime might be ok...

I just curled a Lord of the rings down under remergence. It was a very pleasant experience - quite cinematic as the odd flurry of snow came down. #nosweetcorn

ANYWAY... it's still good here at Secteur du pont @ burbage. Made progress to the two slots on Blind date - just got to link it all up before my skins disappears...

My skin disappeared :) at Curbar refining my GW methods... It's very good here too... Don't worry if roads look wet it's very small amount of sleet - vertical rock all dry.

really? we got there about 11:00 ish and the valley was full of freezing fog and everything looked dry but the wall was wet to the touch so went off to the secret garden which was fine (apart from a bit of drizzle) and got a bit of sun

Yup - 'twas mint in the fog. I've felt wet walls at Almscliff before for the crag to be in excellent condition - so was worth the 2min potter down the path to check the crag.

Good session at Secret Garden?

Just back from Curbar - all good. GW Pit etc... all dry. Nice and grippy and enough of a wind to raise the friction without being baltic.. I'd say it'd be worth it for a lantern session in many places tonight... before the weekend turdfest of a forecast arrives...

Been up to Stanage today, albeit running not climbing and there was a fair bit of run off and water running so be surprised if much is dry. Snow that's left is really slushy now too

Trackside boulder was dry at Curbar. Sean's arete climbable. Gorilla warfare boulder wet but no snow on top.

Hail storm melted lots of snow that was on the ground/on top.

Nobody I know but Mark20 said there wasn't any snow about near Bakewell and that was yesterday when the more northern crags were pretty snowy.

Great connies at Baslow today as the evening drew in.

The snowline is pretty high and getting higher. Most of the crags bar Stanage/ Burbage are fine.
