Guessing it was mint today or was it all a bit damp? Any confirmations

Sleeting now in Sheffield and looking like a reasonably lump of rain/sleet/snow is expected over night.

Was hoping to get out tomorrow  :please:

Take a broom - probably be alright. It'll be snow that high up. Easterly wind forecast so E edges might be nicely sheltered..

Mint at Apparent North. The snowline was between Burbage and Millstone- not enough snow about to affect the climbing but it wasn't melting at all.

Snowline is right into valley floor this morning, fair dusting in Stoney but cold. Get your brooms out

Pictures of Stanage are showing snow covered roads this morning so there's a good chance Burbage North is the same. Burbage South from Fox House should be fine though as the Hathersage road is passable.

Looks like a broom might be needed for Deliverance today https://twitter.com/northlees/status/688665439581384704

Ringinglow was a fucking disaster. Took me over hour and a half to get back down it to ringinglow village due to idiots...

Road now closed both ways

On conditions- West side story all dry, the mono problem to its left and a few other things

Curbar top parking via the Owler Bar road was all completely clear until 100yards from the carpark. Didn't really check much out but Walk On by was all dry, with pads getting dripped on.

Yeah should be fine. No snow above. Looks like Bens Wall was also dry if Tom Newman's instagram is anything to go by.

For future reference - avoid parking in the layby just before burbage bridge when the roads are snowy/icy - quite a few people didn't make it around the gentle bend just before it today and slid into the layby out of control. Saw several bumps, a few near misses and one accident that only just managed to avoid being really serious, and I was only there for a couple of hours.

At rivelin acid reign and moontan were both dry and likely to stay that way. Didn't look at anything else.

Get yourself up Walk On By - before it gets downgraded ;)
