Curbar is damp. Even top of trackside. GW dryish but pretty log conditions. Drying very slowly in a very light wind.

Plantation looked crap from a distance.

I was down at Robin Hoods Stride today. Which was damp but beginning to dry in a light wind and seemed to have had less rain, this afternoon, than further north.

Stanage-le-bois was good today. Some dampness, but plenty of dry rock

with no significant rain and a fair bit of wind predicted, I would expect the Eastern Edges to be fun tomorrow

maybe take some tent pegs and sand bags to hold the mats down?

I know absolutely nothing about grit conditions as I've only climbed on it twice. Does anyone know how good conditions will be at Burbage on Sunday, given the weather forecast? Cheers

Secret garden suffers from seepage and can be slow to dry after rain. So there will probably be seepage but with the forecast gales it might dry quicker than it seeps. Anything specific?

Burbage west was mostly fine tonight but very green in places.

Cheers, it's a 2 hour drive for me so hoping it should be OK. Looking to get on The Nose and Breakfast, are they easy to find sans guide?

Cheers

You should find the Nose no probs, it's near the carpark at the start of the main bit and covered in chalk. Breakfast is 100yds further in a little bay, the last climbable rock on the edge.

Anywhere sheltered from south westerlies that's not especially green of slow drying will be worth a look.

Any point in driving over an hour to get there today? Is tomorrow a better bet?

Look at the outside webcam. Check the rain radar.
It's also bloody windy (in Manc let alone the peak). Personally I'm shopping today and climbing tomorrow.

me and another punter off here will be at Burbage West from 10.15ish - I'll be the chubby, bald one sandbagging a tall thin chap

lots of stuff should dry in the wind, but there may be seapage due to the last 2 months of rain

I expect that more folk will be out in the afternoon/evening

Drying rapidly here at BbgBridge. Decent wind and where dry nice Connies. If the rain holds off might be good for a cold early eve lantern session? Bring your duvet jacket..
