Now you mention it, could have done with a moon on a stick at Stanage too.

Mark20 provided the beta but the Plantation via Hathersage roads are completely clear, Ringinglow still poor apparently. The carpark is still snowy but I managed to get in/out with shit snow driving skills.

Anyone been to the Roaches today? Mate was thinking of coming up to try hard arete/tetris but won't bother if it's snowy/wet. Cheers.

This isn't the thread you were looking for (this one is).

It was okay yesterday, still snowy and rutted on the top bit past Lady Canning's but otherwise basically clear.

Ah, try again

Just in case anyone wants to know I am stood in cloud at fox house. Looking grim. Beginning to wonder if I should ever leave the Que estamos hacienda maņana?  of the south peak ever again!

Did you go there with the intention of climbing? If so I've finally found someone more optimistic than me!

The dangers of using a phone to upload with fat fingers. Managed to paste an old text into the middle of my post sorry mrjonathanr

I did go with the intention of climbing away from the south peak. I did the tour and found some dry rank at minus 10. Not ideal but something

There is usually somewhere to climb outside if suitably optimistic

Just been over top of froggatt, curbar and baslow.

Frogatt below the cloud, curbar most definitely in it and baslow just out, pretty saturated and minging.

Wind was blowing into 300 pounds of musclin man area, so it was dry. Too hard for me though. Percy's Cornflake next to it was dry and although it looks shit, it actually had some interesting moves. T-Crack soaked, Jerry's had wet streaks.

We actually went to try Golden Egg at clifftop but it was wet on one side but the boulder with boing boy on was pretty much dry. Didn't look but imagine the quarry 7's would be dry too. Annoyingly there were midges around, is winter over?

Intermittent heavy sleet in the Hoipe valley then the sun comes out - Burbage looked like it was starting to get wet when I drove past 30 mins ago

On my morning drive accross the '62 there was snow above c300m - scuzzy and wet west side, clearing and bright east. Suspect the usual faster drying suspects in Yorkshire will be fine today....

A couple of centimetres of snow in Bolehill/Black Rocks but the sun is shining.  Has anyone got an update further north - Chatsworth/Curbar area?
