Bits of apparent north looked OK this afternoon, better the further left you went. Burbage valley boulders also looked OK from a distance in as much as there were people there and climbing but that's as much as I can say, no idea what it was like at ground level.

Was enough dry to go at around the cock/high neb end. The wind really let us down today though.

Burbage West was dry in bits but no wind.

Burbage North was better with reasonable conditions arriving by the end of the day.

Anyone care to do an estimate for Tuesday, based on this: http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/weather/forecast/gcqz6kgdxdtm ?

I do like a bit of cock....

From 31000 ft (Manchester > Schipol) the whole of the UK was covered with low cloud..

though you could probably guess that from looking out of the window :D

Just been up at Stanage, was dry until it started snowing. Ringinglow road will be interesting tomorrow morning if it freezes tonight...

Cheers Johnny - looks like a cold night in the Millstone car park then. Best eek out the breakie in the morning for a few more hours if that's the case.

Will eatswood Traverse stay dry even in this monsoon? Any wise heads care to venture an opinion?

Thanks

Dunno if its any help, but it was all bone dry on Sunday.
Its the misty claggy stuff that gets it wet so it might be OK at the moment

Big temperature rise today so you might get some condensation... though the forecast wind should remove it.

Am I being too hopeful that the plantation would dry in this wind today??

Someone more knowledgeable will be along but I'd say that was too hopeful. Light rain forecast till 10 wifh a gentle northwesterly.

Stanage end might dry out though as exposed to wind fatdoc...

Almost a hold Hamper's hang and sloper traverse zhould be climbable though.

Still raining in S17 and looks very grey over the Peak, radar looks much like yesterday with showers queuing up out to the West.

Forecast to be dry but yesterday's said 0% chance of rain and look what happened (not that I'm bitter about it  :furious:).

There's always a chance if the weather clears, don't suppose it will dry entirely but something might.

Just driven back home from Sheffield to Hathersage and it's pretty much continual rain here and windy too from the west so plantation will be getting it full on. Will be soaked.
