How's Stanage holding up??
Specifically the Plantation and Brass Monkeys areas.
Really want to climb tomorrow but don't want to drive all the way up from the deep dark south just for a bit cuppa and some chips in Hathersage

When I was out on Wednesday the Plantation was pretty much snow free and I doubt it would be affected by any melt.

The rain has had a good go at the snow and a lot of the drifts are completely gone, including all the stuff on the top. Still a decent amount under Don, Ulysses and White Wand though, certainly enough to make a big difference for a few days yet. None under Archangel.

All gravy here at Burbizzeshizzle Westcoast. No cars in plantpot carpark either and after an overnight dousing the grits feeling unseasonably Velcro like. Out.

Was at burbage north and conditions were not bad at all and that was in the sun.  Reckon it'd have been quite good over there.

Was at South today and connies were pretty good especially in the areas of shade. Left North yesterday around 6ish and West was well in the shade by then. Probably pretty mint.

Burbage South was OK today, but out of the wind. Curbar was great yesterday evening in the breeze and shade

Think anywhere that catches the easterly wind will be reasonable. It was blowing over the top of Froggatt and Curbar today and it was boiling on the rock. Perhaps Higgar? Eagle stone? Ramshaw etc?

Good nick on eaglestone today in the breeze.

I should also add that the ground is very dry there at the moment so no trace of an puddle beneath the groove problems, hence this is a great time to get on them.

Bright and breezy first thing, most things drying, looked like some heavy showers coming in so I ran away but apparently it's still OK out there. Forecast to be less showers this afternoon too so I'll probably head back out

Would say the usual fast drying suspects should be fine

They were only for staying cool in easterly winds, which isn't the norm.
