Was at the plantation today. Lots of dry stuff to go at, unfortunately much of the stuff I wanted to try was wet incl. Brad Pitt (soaking), The Storm, Brass Monkeys but the last two were only damp as opposed to soaking.

No idea of the actual wind direction but seemed to be coming in left to right across the edge. Therefore left facing stuff like Green traverse was dry. Deliverance was dry. I'm getting bored now (typing on phone) definitely lots to go at.

But by the logic that wind was drying stuff The Storm would have been dry but rather Deliverance was.  The sun seemed to be doing considerably more than the wind today, hence East facing stuff was first to get the sun and first to dry.  Also, I think the sun sucking moisture back out of the ground was having a big effect which is maybe why it got mush better around 2pm when it clouded over.

Went to burbage south today, most of crag bouldering and nearly all the boulders were dry.

Gardoms north was abit damp in the morning but loads of people were out later on.
Most of the crag stuff was dry apart from double bum.
South and moorside completely dry and good conies with a nice breeze

Really warm at Robin Hoods stride and Cratcliffe today. Felt like summer although was alright in the shade.

Was pretty tough conditions out at Birbizzle West today.. Close to zero and biting wind.. Secret garden was better though both felt a little squirmy - maybe still a little moisture about, to the super slap and stick conditions you might expect for the temps and wind..

Anyone know if the blocks at curbar are likely to stay out of the wind or will they be colder than death tomorrow? Will the edge shelter them at all?

Think everywhere was colder than death today, Burbage south boulders certainly were, loads of grip though even after the flutter of snow flakes

Gave it a whirl, it was cold but very much manageable with sufficient clothes, handwarmers and cake.

Proper cold and dry at Burb West this morning.
Minus 2 when I got back to the car at 10:30
Would be a good day to get on your projects Nai and TT (and anyone else of course)

Was still good from then until midday when I left. The wind was picking up and it was getting colder, but somewhere sheltered would be nice. Maybe Secret Garden?
