Yes. but you'd have to go out and sweep it now to give it time to dry off without melting snow running down it.

Let me know if you do this so I can go there tomorrow  :2thumbsup:

Much better bets. David is very reliable from previous experience.

It wouldn't be affected by run-off from melt, but snow might settle on the slopers. Would deffo be baltic up there though!

went to apparent north and burbage bridge this pm.  usual dry stuff at hampers/sloper traverse.   Mermaid was in good condition, I cleared the top of worst of snow- still slippy though.

Baltic! - about minus 4.   grim if in the wind, bearable out of it.

met someone who had been to plantation and said problem tops quite snowy, roads around stanage/burbage icy patches but fine.  Few inches of snow on tops of crag in general.

Good conditions at Rowtor today. Few of the top outs just need the snow dusting off them, but plenty to go at.

Mossatrocity was dry today but the very top had some ice on, could dry it off with hand warmers I think though.
Them! looked fine but the arete had some kind of black ice on it but abit of hand heat and chalk and it would be fine.
The aretes/ prow in Tegness Quarry are holding up well, fairly snow proof it would seem, although the top would need a quick brush beforehand (There is a easy crack to go up onto the top and tree to hold onto, and the top is pretty positive too)

Just been over Ringinglow Road to Hathersage in my mates 4x4. I think you'd get to Burbage OK but some drifts across the road further along. A fair amount of snow out there, drifting on a good SE wind. Seems to be a bit of drifting on W/NW facing walls, promising for snowball action...

From twitter:

Roads are totally fine up to Norfolk Arms. Passable up to Burb N. but a little icey and slushy.

Drove past an hour ago, snowing again 15 mins ago outside Norfolk arms, roads passable without 4wd just http://t.co/vdyKHu1C

few 4X4's were driving around stanage area today, a tractor also ploughing the roads up from hathersage and the one past higger too. On the dry rock front, Carhead was plastered with snow and ice, stanage was very much the same so not too sure what would be dry out there. poss B west could be?
