Andi, I'm failing to (g)rasp what you're on about - are you looking for (ad)vice as to Higgar conditions?

Just turned round at the Sheffield Tigers ground, (non essential journey).  road was white over, albeit slushy from the dore moor inn so god knows what the fox house stretch was like since it was absolutely shitting it down.

I've just been over the Woodhead pass - got off the 62 at Huddersfield in solid traffic (just heard people now stranded there). Pass was ok ish.. Bt sketchy over the top - 5-10 cm in places - got swamped by slush from wagons coming the other way a couple of times.. Doubt there will be any snow of note in the morning - it was very wet, but there was shit loads of standing water about (road flooded in places) so if anywheres in it'll have to be quick drying...

Open now. Anyone heading out today? Mainly interested in Burb South but I'm guessing that is probably unlikely to be good?

drove over from stoney into sheff this morning, slushy snow on top from Dore Moor inn getting bit thicker up to fox house. Roads down to grouse and beyond is fine and should be totally clear by now as its was 2deg when I went though. Valley bottoms clear of any snow with very wet conditions last night rather than the freezing stuff. rekon Burb South will be wet

Any chance the Plantation boulders will be climbable tomorrow morning? I could get an early train out and walk to Plantation for some bouldering, but it's a bit of a mission if I just end up finding melt water dank on everything. Any thoughts locals?

Plantation was surprisingly warm today, considering the forecast said it'd be about 3C. Not bad, but not amazing.

Same at Burbage North, though West was reportedly arctic. Hard frost in S11 this morning, and the wind has dropped...

Does Rowtor fit into this category?

Recent dryness makes me optimistic but the heavy morning frosts not so

Never been so anyone with experience care to make a guess at likely nick?
