Anyone been to Secret Garden recently? Any knowledge/thoughts? Thinking about Left Hand Man in particular.

I'd guess with the breeze today it should be dry. Hard to rule out possible wetness at the top from saturation runoff, but the ground was pretty wet when I did it a few weeks back (on a day like today) and wetness was not a problem

Sweet. Sounds like it's worth a look. Cheers yoot. Even if it's wet, there's always Mother Cap.

LHM doesn't tend to take bad runoff like beahball and zafs et anyway. Should be ok.

Anyone know what Plantation, Curbar or Gardoms might be like tomorrow/sunday?

Short answer, no. Could go either way.
Forecast for Sat is showery and breezy. All depends on when, where and how much it rains (looking like heavy band passing over whole region mid morn), then how strong the wind is afterward. Between showers I'd hazard a guess that it will be good nick on quick drying probs. Of those three Curbar will dry quickest then, Plantation, then Gardoms.

The general east midlands forecast, the Peak mountain forecast and the rainfall radar (all on metoffice site)predict heavy shower/s. Your link is more recently updated though. Unsettled is the word I think. Best leaving descisions on venue as late as possible!

Thanks for the replies, should be a good day out tomorrow then! Was just a bit cautious as it's been miserable in Leeds!

Has been fairly grisly in Sheff, but slowly drying up now. Not sure how the peak is though

Off here tomorrow so wouldn't mind confirmation that the following are dry; Marks Roof, Soft on the G, Sauvito and Pogles wood sit. Cheers.

Froggatt wood was all dry today so imagine south and the edge problems will be dry tomorrow and more than likely the north side too

Froggatt Wood as in the Sunset boulders? If so, are the problems looking climbable, or have they mossed over? Just curious how they've fared since they were srubbed up 3 years ago.

TAOWHW was bone dry yesterday, which is a good barometer of wider dryness given it often has a wet streak in autumn.

Sorry no, glass slipper and old king cascade. Went to sunset a few months ago after a dry spell and they were very dirty....

Many of the tops were wet/damp and green at Gardoms North. The stuff I was on/tried was top outtable though. Marks Roof, Soft on the G, etc.
