Looks like a shower moving through in the next hour, but shouldn't last.

Just driven from Castleton to Manc and a few spits and spots - as it's heading eastward I suspect the edges will be fine for the afternoon..

Dry ish (bin lids and walls) round nether edge part of sheffield however the sky looks moody. Michael Fish says risk it but do you trust him?

Extended breakfast for me!

is that when you start up Breakfast, traverse across Spartacus and finish up Famous Grouse?

Any suggestions for where I might just get away with a bit of climbing amidst the snow?

You could start here: http://ukbouldering.com/board/index.php/topic,16522.0.html

I'd got for a drive though... was pretty windy during the strom so there's a good chance of dry tops. Might even be some drifts...

Have you guys got big snow over there too?

Like JB says, it seems to have been the wind that caused all the problems rather than the amount of snow (westside anyway). It seems a right shame to let a day like today go without getting out. Might hit up the Newstones later.

Be interested to know what the eastern edges are like if anyone's been out.
