anyone been out on the edges today? ive got thurs and fri off work and im hoping to get out. Stanage sounds ok, what about the rest of the crags??

didn't look sorry, but I would guess it's ok as it's a permadry problem. Lots was nearly dry, but all the new probs that have been recently done were wet/filthy. If you've not done desperot it's definately worth trying.

If youre in that area make sure you try Dobbins Blog at dobb edge just along, similar difficulty to desperot and almost as good  :)

Was light drizzle enough to make burbage sth wet this evening. Left at 8ish and not stopping. So unlikely to be dry first thing tomorrow.

robin hoods stride was ok today, until a monsoon struck. it will probs be ok tomorrow, most stuff in the sun and the wind will be fine. due to be a perfect grit day.

close, fell off last move twice having worked out a good way of doing it. hopefully next time. I liked your mates attitude in trying to crimp slopers  :goodidea:
