Very damp first thing but the sun did its work to leave the Eastern Edges mostly mint by sunset. Very little snow on the rock, though still some dampness in the shade. Looking good for tomorrow.

I thought it was ok at burbage south this evening. It was a bit damp in places but was drying quite well. Had dropped to just below freezing as I was leaving. By the way got home and realised I've left my gloves (northface black, bit knackered ski gloves) next to the side of the dog, left after 4 today. If anyone picks them up give me a pm. Cheers Rich

Thanks

I did - all fine. no snow on the ground once you got to Stoney. Roads all 100% fine...

Not much more than an inch on Stanage. Kinder looked whiter but I'm surprised the Snake isn't passable.

I came over A6 and Stoney etc.. No problems whatsoever.

Anyone at the Plantation yesterday? Was it all pretty dry or much run off? How about Jerry's Trav? It often has a bit of a streak down it.

It was still damp last thing yesterday. In the absence of any sun today, I suspect it will be a no go.

All very cold and overcast on eastern crags this morning. Mist in the hope valley etc. Had a look at higgar...leaning block looked dry, eastside bouldering wet/green.

Ditto at Burbage North. There's been plenty of good nick the last few days, though shadier stuff can be very green.

Burbage south was alright today, a few things damp/green (Life assurance, Pebble Mill, few others) . Nosferatu and others were pretty dry. would say that trellis would be damp

froggatt was good today, got abit warm though, not much breeze but on top of the crag there was a nice blowing of wind, chilly in the wind.

Burbage West was mint today. Cold and difficult to warm up as it was catching the wind. Some icicles and run off here and there but generally great.
Burbage bridge good too except Mermaid start hold typically wet and a snow patch on the top of Rocket Man. North was warmer as the wind was coming over the top. Probably same tomorrow by the looks of it.
Secret Garden all gravy except Zaff's which even though there were a few small icicles under the lip and fading dampness on the wall might have been ok for the sufficiently strong.

Stanage Apparent North was surprisingly snow free today. No snow on top, just a few wet streaks here and there. Burbage N looked similar. Road out from Ringinglow was OK, and getting better. The bit down to the Popular End car park looked a bit snowier so didn't try but plenty of 4x4s went down there, and might well be OK.

Secret Garden was wet except for Nigel's problem which seemed ok. No topping out though.
Burbage West and North were fine where there was no run off. Clag came in around 3pm and turned things a bit glassy I thought. Should be alright tomorrow if it stays dry tonight.

Stanage was good today. All the roads were clear right up to the Plantation.

The right hand side looked fine on the way past, most things dry at the Plantation.
