I was just going off the met charts which show a ridge of high pressure.

Where's the good forecast everyone is talking about? All I can see is showers all weekend?

sorry, looked earlier on bbc and it seemed good for here (peak), probably changed though.

Ok at plantation today.. Cold, especially in the wind. Friction was good though I greased off a couple of damp crimps.. If there's no rain it should be great tomorrow..

Rivelin a bit patchy today - a lot of runoff about, and generally green and scrittley. Pleasant though.

Higgar was a bit damp and there was a definite damp mist rolling into Hathersage late afternoon.

Mixed bag round Cratcliff area. Mushy ground and fair amount of streaks/runoff but plenty dry. Started drizzling about 3pm.

Burbage north looked dry at 0830, and west looked damp on the greener bits (nose etc).

Really fuckin windy though.

Plantation conditions were great on the rock today but the wind was a killer.  Bailed after a couple of problems to RHS which was very pleasant.  Should be good tomorrow, if only I had some tips left...

Birchen pretty good this avo, with occasional very minor bits of damp. Not that windy with the trees taking the edge off it.

We spent not very long at burbage north today - fuck it was cold in the wind - took pity on the wife and kids and did a runner back to the car. (Seemed to be drying quite well)

secret garden nicely sheltered, the only dripping wet things were Zaffs -> Beachball, everything else was looked ok but the bits I climbed on were just-not-quite. And the topouts (on the stepped roof at least) were damp scrittley horrorshows.

stanton was all dry (brads rib, brads arete (presence)), apart from Brutal arete which was soaked :'(

Robins hoods all dry. bens wall and big al qeada both in good nick.

did start to get damp at the end of the day though, this inspired a trip to the ever dry nudas.

Maybe, maybe not. These sort of forcasts often translate to fog and slow thawing frost over the Peak.

Don't start pissing on our chips just yet Bonjoy, we need the motivation of a perfect weekend to get us through the rest of a Friday of work.

It'll be just perfect, cold, sunny, not a breath of wind, projects falling left, right and centre........

I have a pass for half a day tomorrow - no kids, no wife and dwtg weather forecast. Hide your chips because it's bound to rain.
