At Rivelin. Some dry bits, some run off. Trying to rain. Probably not going to stick around. Moontan is bone dry.

Just been at curbar. Trackside boulder was damp, athough sidetrack was dry. Dans wall block dry, GW block dry enough. Vitually no snow on the ground at curbar, entire of curbar and froggatt look to be below the snowline.

Was up at Stanage today.... f***in horrible. strong wind blowing snow, damp everywhere apart from a few.
Back in the YMCA was dry but in full force of the wind, freezing.
Slope john B or whatever it is was dry and sheltered from the wind but seemed glassy, same with grand theft aut
Everywhere there freezing.
What was the wind like at curbar dave? did baslow look alright?

Wind was very light down on the boulders, but was strong at crag level. Baslow looked ok, spoke to some lads who said they'd walk along there and some shit was dry, some wet.

It was Pick 'n Mix at RHS & Clifftop too, Stride mostly fooked, Clifftop mostly ok.  Pretty sheltered though and some great light late on.

Do you think minus ten will hold in the forthcoming rain?

Most of peak dry today, Burbage looked dry from the bus and Curbar was all dry. Although bad landing had about a centremetre thick layer of chalk on the front from people trying to dry it recently...

bit dank in curbar at the moment but the edge looks mostly dry. should be ok though if it doesn't rain/snow too much overnight.

I know it's not exactly eastern edges, but over woodhead pass tonight everything was wet/dank and I'd be Surprised if it dried for tomorrow.

Moorside doesn't really get green at all, takes no drainage and faces south-west. Its a very good bet for iffy weather. The south end of the edge is a bit less open, so dries a little slower, but still gets a bit of sun and can be more clement when its baltic.
