Wasn't that good, lets not gild the lily.

There's no pleasing some people. The odd problem was damp, but friction on the whole was about as good as it gets.

Sure it was sweatheart, sure it was.

Was the mother goose perusaded to hand out those eggs willy nilly then?
The first non-ginger repeat is still up for grabs.

decent southish wind, so a lot could be dry late afternoon - or it could all be wet

Burbage South boulders, Eagle Stone, Mother Cap and Froggat top will dry off quick

Eaglestone was dry, but a bit scrittly, yesterday but the base is minging wet.  Bits of the edge were okish.

edit: just opened the curtains, guess it's all wet again.

have you looked at a forecast?

Staying cloudy and mild with further rain or drizzle, and widespread hill fog. Again some of the rain may turn heavy during the day, especially in the afternoon. Winds will slowly ease during the day.

Should be clearing from the north down as the day goes on. Plus the wind. I'm optimistic...

Burbage North was as grim as it gets today, soaking and blowing a gale! Few things alright ish at Cractliffe but generally pretty damp and soggy. Still just as windy, drying out fast though.

Just started drizzling in Sheffield, and outside webcam looks like its the same for the Eastern Edges. South Peak can sometimes be different?

What's the Eastern Peak been like over the past few days?  Covered in mist and damp as f*ck, or clear and dry?  Or somewhere in between perhaps?

Clear and dry, overnight frosts so bits of dampness in shade but the sun soon dries everything out.

Yesterday at Frogatt:

Nice one, thanks.  If you could keep it that way for the next couple of days that would be appreciated.

I'm keen to know too. The Outside webcam makes it look grim.

Looks slightly grey over the Peak, not raining but the air feels damp.  Would have thought something somewhere would be doable but wouldn't want to travel too far to find out.

Looks ok over limewards if reports of the Tor being dry are correct.

Drove down to Staffs and it was foggy and drizzling. Checked the lime on the way East (it was minging) and ended up at Curbar where it dried out to give a nice afternoon.
