I thought it rang a bell from somehwere, now I've checked that picture and rechecked the new guide it's not what I looked at, which was Friday Club.

I didn't go that far in so can't say what nick it's in.  Good to be reminded about it though, another one to check out at some point.

Thanks guys, superb.

Heading out about 12 I reckon. I looked at purple haze whilst out on a walk, looked bloody nails and mostly likely beyond my punter skills  :boohoo:

curbar gap road and car park has had a plough and a grit since yesterday so drivable now.

Had a good session on the eaglestone, most problems ok. Only the dyno from the small pocket looked to have ice on top hold but might be brushable.

Sorry didn't make it to Rivelin Barrett, any news on conditions?

think I've got your brush.

there was water running down some of the problems when I left but a bit of wind and sun
should sort it soon enough.  brushed.some ice off the descent but didn't get chance.to.test it sadly.

Ah! thought it was probably you. Would that be the wooden bush, have to admit found that lying around at stoney so you can hang onto it if you want. or give it me back next time we bump into each other.

Yeah thought it'd be pretty much perfect if the last bits of snow/ice were brushed off - good work.

Walked along from Pinnacle to faze action, all the edge looked good to go.

Didn't tick moontan though, one to go back to!

Thanks again to the guys who rescued me from the car park. Word of warning, it's like an ice ring.

Anyone been to Cratcliffe or RHS recently? I'm thinking it may be best to avoid the elton road and park at the bottom of the hill.

So obviously the snowballing thread is probably moreinformative, but I thought I'd mention that a couple of guys in the shops yesterday said that High Neb was pretty much all dry (for chuffing anyway). If anyone's interested?

lovely conditions today, once youve cleared the snow off the top outs, its great friction.

Plantation in good nick today.
Burbage south not so good, felt ok initially but got worse and worse. I think the rock was a little damp so a little bit of wind might help.

As reported Froggatt is in good nick

Curbar (Trackside) - everything to the right from the three pocket problem should be fine and free from icy top outs but best to give them a good brush before trying them. No idea about the rest of the crag but someone was on the bad landing boulder and didn't seem to be having too many problems.

Clear & Sunny in S1 (city centre) and looked clear on the hills eastward (but obviously couldn't see the Edges)

I was climbing at Baslow yesterday.  All seemed fine.  Eagle stone was pretty good with a solid ice floor for landing on so even the mats didn't get wet.  Walnut whip boulder was ok so I'm assuming flatworld boulder should be fine.

Just got back from a quick play at Burbage N & W.
Terrace is the only one at Burb N on your list Jim- its dry but there's snow on the top.
First few butresses have snow on top, some keen lads were brushing snow off Banana finger.
Remergence probs all OK
Burb W OK as well, some small amounts of snow on top holds of Famous Grouse
Surprisingly windy, blowing snow straight down the valley

Just come over the 623 through Stoney as traffic news said pass shut. Steady light snow all the way. Wouldn't fancy climbing at curbar :/ only a covering on the ground but only -1 so may melt instead of brushing off (if someone could copy to eastern edges conditions report?)
T

Although -1 < 0 so in "theory" water/snow should stay frozen
