I've been a-baking. Got myself a new cake tin and broke it in with chocolate layer cake.

Maybe if you sliced it thinner you could get more filling in?

Good effort Will. I think you might have inspired me to bake tomorrow but maybe some bread rather than cake.

I came back from the Foundry one night to find the Mrs. in tears with egg, flour and some badly burnt cake mix... Her boss had convinced her that it was a good idea to bake a cake and then ice it to look like the globe for some piece of eco toss (actually I think over in Aus its quite respected) that her office was carrying out.



Here's the finished cake after I stepped in to save the day...Now where is the HERO smiley?  :great:

ps - I didn't bake the crap next to it.

Is that royal icing? I have yet to try this, looks exciting.
