Chalk bag at Raven Tor
April 02, 2009, 01:08:20 pm
I'm in danger of becoming labelled as some kind of Raven Tor caretaker (which isnt the worst of things I have been described as) : last nights pickings were limited to a chalk bag.

Describe it to me and you can have it back. Otherwise I am keeping it.

Oh, and the pants are still there. Someone has thrown them into the undergrowth behind the 'out of my tree' stump.

it is a small roughly cylindrical fleece or fur lined container, about 6" deep, 4" across, with traces of magnesium carbonate power within. when can I come and pick it up?

I wonder if Welford's lost another one.  Maybe they're his pants too?  :-\

yes, yes and yes - only there is more than a trace of magnesium, and the owners ran to a waiting car and headed 'south'. This is where your claim falls short - I know you have never been further south than Buxton, and unless your definition of trace of powder is that of scarface you are wrong and wonger.

Who is the maker of this chalk bag I ask ye?

I heard he wears pants made of the finest sheffield steel (to match his steely fingers). These pants are neither steel nor fine. They may be from Sheffield.

Confusing as I thought that it was Le Sausage who wore pants of finest steel. Or was that just a weight belt?

Is it and old style DMM bucket with the double velcro roll top lid, and the DMM barcode label still hanging from it? I think I may've left mine there recently. It's my lucky charm y'know!
