I think as logbooks go UKC is the best available at the minute. I absolutely hate the terms they use though "sent"... etc.

Having said that Paul, "sent" does seem to wind up some of the "thinking so far in the box they might as well be locked in it forever" anti-bouldering morons on there, which is a good thing...

I prefer 8a, because it's much quicker and easier to see what my friends (and everyone else) have been up to. I'm often inspired to go and try something when I see someone else has just done it. The way routes/problems are ordered by grade makes them much easier to browse than on ukc, which has an awful list system. Perhaps it's good for trad, but I'm not interested in that.

For me, 8a is much more about sharing the pysche.

I do rate the logbook system on UKC except for people logging every unsuccessful attempt on a route with TR dnf or Lead dogged. Write a comment if it's constructive otherwise fuck off and stop clogging the pages up with your insipid shit.

UKC logbook is really usefull, saves writing in my guide books.
Entering probs on 8a does my frigging head in, i must be doing it wrong! Cant seem to get 'search and add' to work for me
