Stewart Lee's Comedy Vehicle

Watched this the other night - brilliant!

Don't want to deconstruct this too much, but it is amazing how being an older (and now significantly portly) gent (him, not me) adds a crucial degree of gravitas and fierceness to a comedians delivery. Google some of his older stuff and you'll see what I mean.

Anything attacking that cnut Chris Moyles is ok by me, I saw that the other night, vitriloic sarcastic de-construction of some, by his own admission, easyish targets....I loved it.

On a side issue do you rekon comic relief would of made even more money whilst in africa instead of having a load of prima donnas being carried up a hill they dressed Chris Moyles in a suit made of fresh zebra and paraded him around on the Savannah in front of a pride of lions. Just to make it fair the fat git could have a mtb.............now that would be television I would pay to watch.

It's pronounced "nobacon". My father said so.

I was at school with Stewart (same year) and his talent was very obvious even then. He was a fellow member of the hill-walking club but appears to be taking less exercise these days.

It is a bad case of the 'thickening'! He should take up running - might ruin some of the stage presence though.

Maybe running away from the So Solid Crew could help drop a few pounds off!

I love his steady, deliberate repetition - extremely simple but the delivery makes it flippin brilliant.
